 What is TISS?

The tata institute of social sciences has been to be an institution of excellence in higher education that continually responds to changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards creating a people. TISS offers variety of courses in bachelor, master, doctoral courses and also short term courses.   

  •   TISS has four campuses mumbai, tuljapur, hyderabad, guwahati in all campuses the main institute is mumbai.

  • It is a 100mins test and consists of 100 objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  •  NO NEGATIVE MARKING applicable for TISS-NET for any program. 
  • Medium of TISS-NET will be English.

TISS-PAT:- 
                         The duration of the Programme Aptitude Test (PAT) is 45 minutes if candidates selected only one programme. If candidates selected two programmes the duration of the PAT will be 90 minutes and for three programmes the duration will be 135 minutes. 
   

             Test Pattern:-   

                  Programme Aptitude Test (TISS-PAT) is programme specific and might have variations across different programmes. 

TISS-MAT:-
  •  (Management aptitude test) The TISS MAT will be a computer based MCQ type test with a duration 45 minutes and 50 Marks.
  • Negative Marking: Each correct answer in Section 1 to 3 will fetch 1 mark, and each wrong answer will result in 0.25 negative marks.
